Thanks mediar. Indeed a nice little device, but I still can not get over the damn small battery they have put into it.

This is a nice cute little phone but there are few areas that needs to address

1. Non-replaceable battery?? (what's this iphone?) and battery life could be better it's quite thick im sure they can fit a replaceable battery and bigger battery in there
2. 3gp vdo format recording
3. Limited txt entry
4. No double tap zooming or finger zooming
5. Android 1.6 (but i think it's upgradeable...)

I would love to see this phone be a little slimmer, bigger battery life and replaceable, double tap zooming at least, more txt entry and 3gp is seriously compress vdo coder which lead to artifacts

just my two cents

Though finger/tapping zooming is a cool feature, it's not a deal breaker for me. However check out this video.....

Seems to be a clever one-finger zoom technique in the Photo Gallery, so no doubt someone will develop it into the web browser and other apps too.

P.S. Why is the battery life so badddd (had to add that in, wouldn't be the same without me complaining about it!)

Looks like it is starting to hit pre-order. Due for release in late May/early June:

That video was good... loved the way the gallery scrooling worked and the zoom feature...

It looks extremely fast through the menus, no perceivable lag whatsoever. Very nice!

Its sure fast on the videos that I saw but when I actually tried it. My friend is using one and its sluggish. Maybe because of the apps that he loaded?

Have noticed on the official X10 Mini Pro page (Here) the first accessory they now show is a battery charging pack. Subtle promotion of how to fix the battery problem there.

Only I think they forget the actual problem... if you're somewhere you can charge a battery, you're less likely to be concerned with battery life... its the people out-and-about who may not have access to a charger that's complaining!

I'm hoping someone releases some kind of charging case (seen them for the iPhone), which basically acts as a second battery essentially doubling the life!

On a brighter note...the phone has now dropped in price by about £50. Still not gonna get it til I get this problem solved though
