... i installed the driver manually... 'USB COM5' was added to the link properties. I tick the usb com 5 .... There's an error saying 'It is not possible to enable the port, as it may be in use by another application' weird.. there's no another usb application being used at the moment...

@ROXY...Thats going to be hard. The same thing happend to me too but for a modem. I winded up not using the port anymore. Did you attach any other device before this one? If not, theres probably a software application thats using the port. If you can trace back on the newly installed softwares, I suggest you check them out. Normally they suggest to use the Restore facility to put your computer in the state wherein everything was working perfectly. If it wont restore, the uninstall process comes next. You have to uninstall all the softwares app before this. I guess thats the last resort. Sorry if I cant help that effectively. I guess your last last resort is to bring it to a technician. Sorry again.

i have a question on contact list, there's this private check box, whats it for?
In my palm 3C, if you click it private, the name will be hidden. Could this be the same?

@SE21...I think the Private check box is for the Sync and Beaming facility only. When you put a check in it, the note that you made on that particular contact will not be Synced to your PC, same thing when you Beam it. Not sure if you send the contact thru SMS and BT.

hi guys,
i am still unable to send and rcv mms. im a post paid globe subscriber and i have called them several times to ask solutions for the problem. they said i should just wait and their reason is that the "p800 cant be easily recognize by their system".
has anyone had the same problem? i have downloaded their setting over the air.
pls send ur advice via a PM. thanks in advance.
