@ Ricky D - yeah dont worry im not the argue type of guy. I have no idea which flowers open in spring, just to me any old picture of a flower i could take any time of the year and to be honest get boring when sharing pictures even if they are for the competition.

Personally i wanted to capture an image which contained many aspects of spring but failed this month, daffodils in early bloom, lambs with their mothers all in the same image and some nice springtime early morning sunshine. Sadly this past week which was my only time to get the image it did nothing but rain heavily here so the flowers were closed and the lambs were hiding further down the field to where i wanted to take the picture.

Its annoying having such reliably bad weather !!

Yes been raining all week here too and all day today. I managed to capture my shot on the off chance the sun came through the rain clouds. We had just pulled up into a petrol station in the Shropshire countryside. And that field was right next to it.

I dont know about you guys but im sick of spending so much time at work each week when it comes to doing anything creative such as this, i never get a chance to compete. You'd think having a N8 as my main cameraphone id be able to enter more of these. Roll on next months i say..

There are great entries but the one from Emporium most strongly shows that spring has come. So, my vote goes to Emporium
