Last year they said the frame of xz3 was much stronger than alluminum 6000.
One event in China or Taiwan. Those small events they use power point presentation.

Side FPS is very convenient. The thumb will be there when taking phone out of pocket.
If it is on the table, person can use index.
If you need repair, it is much easier to fix.
While the in-screen needs to remove screen first, which can be damaged.

Mate 30 slow mo must be just tricks.
The sensor is just a variation of imx600 with yellow pixel.
Regular cmos cannot read data that fast. No matter how strong kirin is.
RX100 and RX10 also do just 960fps HD.
This sensor is steonger than mobile version.

They believe X5 will outsell X1.
So , it could be way to earn more per unit.

Even if you can find both for same price, many may choose x5 because of size.
There are costumers that do want the 4K, other dont feel the need.

If you live outside USA and wants to answer, pretend you live there.

- Please do not forget to mark as Most important stuff like : compact body, high MP cam and headphone jack.
- In the part they ask what cam stuff you consider important, please do not forget to complain about how weak SS has become compared to Z5/XZ ....

Bigger cmos compared to which one? the current main camera on the xperia 1 or the older cams with 1/2.3? Going back to 1/2.3 Sony can argue it is bigger. Maybe they will go for 1/2" size, hopefully that won't mean a smaller aperture or removal of OIS.

Months ago he had a post about 12MP 1/1.7".
I have no idea if that would be main camera or other.
I do not want 12.
Daylight shots of xz2 are much better than 1.

The f1.6 of 1/2.6" has smaller diameter than a f2.0 of 1/1.7" ...
considering same FL for both.
Probably around 5mm ...

That is why cellphones even with more than 100mm cant blur background without software tricks, while cameras do it physically. 😊

Guess that 1/1.7" is real. Huawei already have two huge sensors, Samsung's midrange 64mp is already at 1/1.7. I don't think smaller than that would make sense. 12MP is plenty imo, they shouldn't pass 16MP at most. I wonder if the variable aperture thing is also true.

That imx666 disappeared. It was supposed to be 1/1.5", then Huawei had a sensor exactly that big. Interesting.

Interesting the fact they decided to do this survey.
I hope they realize that having the jack is not going to affect sales of wirelless gear.
People that want wireless will use wireless no matter if device has jack or not.
People that want wired will use the dongle.
But they also need to remember that they have lost costumers that dont want a phone without jack.

They also to make an effort to have MWC phone at stores no more than 6 weeks after event.
It is annoying the fact the phone becomes available in last week of may or early june.
Even if the number of units is limited.

10/10+ could be already bought few hours after the event.

Well I use dsr9bt which is the best one in term of sound quality. Still the return of headphone jack is always welcome.

While I have my old MDR-10RBTs, I don't really use them outside my house and I don't remember the last time I used them wireless, probably 3 years ago maybe.

My main headphones for music are my XBA-A3s, but they are not wireless and I use my walkman for music, not my phone, so for music, removal of the headphone jack on a phone is not a big deal for me. But I use my headphones on my tablet wired quite a lot so if sony even released a tablet without a 3.5mm jack, that would be concerning to me.

One thing I wish Sony would do is provide 3.5mm to usb type-c cables with all their headphones which can use a wired connection and then have usb-c audio on the phone, but I guess Sony would rather sell you a usb type-c to 3.5mm convertor rather than include usb to 3.5mm cable with headphones.
