@aikelo: Well, the notes are actually a bit more than just that - if you push the option button on a highlighted note, you can hang it up on your screen. Then it will be showed as a frame with the reminder on your stand-by screen, hovering above your background picture. It won't override the screensaver, though.

As for the syncing, I haven't tested it as I haven't got IR on my increasingly old and useless laptop... But it seems like it's possible to sync via IR. I was hoping however that a wap sync would also be possible (as it was on my old T65), but haven't found any option for this. And probably won't either - and I really doubt that SE will release another firmware with a major feature upgrade...

I don't know if R3B is already released for the T300 (according to this thread it is NOT), I just quoted a newsitem from www.clubsonyericsson.com from end June this year. Well, that's at least 33% bullshit, as the T310 now does have a calendar, and notes as well!

As for a firmware upgrade from T300 to T310, the chances (IMHO) are slim to none (and slim just left town etc). And furthermore, a firmware upgrade for the T300 seems less likely to me, as the T310 more or less is it's successor, and the phone they're aiming to sell in that specific market and so forth and so on. But then again, that's just my thoughts, and stranger things have happened.

Personally, I'd like an upgrade providing synchronization for my T310, though I really doubt it will happen...

I have a T310 with the new firmware and it synchs perfectly fine (calender, notes, contacts) with Outlook using IR or Cable.

I think that info may be out of date because the r520 t39 t65 and t66 do not have astrisks ethier and they have all had there last f/w update.
