it depends on the level of the servicepoint... for the servicepoints with the highest levels (level 3 and HVC) the upgrades is counted as warranty service and is payed by
.
If you don't have any problem with the firmware the servicepoint does actually have right to either deny doing the upgrade, or take out a charge for it.

I wouldn't know if it is hardware or software related but eversince I upgraded to R8A, some of my contacts could not be recognized if I receive an SMS considering that they are stored in my phonebook.
Anyone has similar problems?

U always have 2 pay 4 d firmware upgrate if ur phone works properly! In our country it costs $10! At sc dixis more expensive! Se didnt want 2 put java on t68 so much, so they've put 12 stupid games! Anyway i love this phone! I saw such cool games on t300! Pitty, t68i owners cant enjoy them, cant choose what 2 play!

I don't know, does it depend on R8A or Esato, but:
When I now download pictures from Esato, they have more colors and more contrast. This is also about those pictures I allready have in my phone (downloaded with R5A) - when I download them now, they got more color (more vivid).
So I got two same pictures in my phone, but colors and contrast are a bit different.
