Love the look of this phone, think its going to replace my T610 and do a good job of it to.

Just watched the flash presentation on the website and I am pretty sure I spotted the standard connectors at the base of the phone, I may be wrong though.

yes, I am quite sure its the standard connector, just with a flip open cover which makes it look different. I'm still looking for a definititive photo or accessory list to be sure

Maybe thats the reason why it is named K700 instead of T700. Another connector at the bottom? So they can say easely accesoirres for the T & Z series, And Accesoirres for the K-series.

I dont like it if the connector at the bottom changes.
But why do you need it?
- FM radio is build in now (no need to connect that radio acc.)
- MP3 is build in now (no need to connect that acc.)
- Camera is build in (no need to attach camera acc.)

I hope the 'power holes' are the same, so the chargers (and car-100) can still be used.

! BTW: Everybody is talking about the software, but its the Z1010 software that is on it now. There have to be made some changes before it can be released, that means that some things can change.

But i hope the option to change the meaning of your cursormovements in standbymenu, can still be changed in the K700 version of the firmware.

not the phone for me or any SE phone ever for that matter. i was greatly disappointed and for starters i just tried SE's phones. i am not brand loyal and if i will change my phone it will be phones from other makers and not buy phones from makers that i already have got. besides there are other phones that are better than this soon to be released. i will be selling my t616 soon. SE now copied nokia by putting radios in their mobiles but the crappy part of it is they changed their connectors at the bottom of the phone so most previous accessories are useless now. thanks to sony only though for improving the phones relased by SE. ericsson could not have done any of this anyway if they were still on their own.

Here we go again

Dude, maybe best you stick to your motorolas with the shite UI.

At present there is no confirmation that the connectors have changed, all we know is there is a covering over the phone.

Btw, again as regard to this being a sony designed phone yadda yadda yadda, the designer is from Ericsson.

All connectors remain same.
The thing you see below is a rubber cover.

No need to speculate more about this

I ain't "on your back" dude. I was just replying to your message. That's the purpose of posting in a forum no?

I didnt say you were wrong about the connectors, re read my post. I said we basically dont know if they have changed or not. If they change, then ya I understand your disappointment, but we don't know yet.

Again it was an Ericsson guy who designed the phone. I love the way you are so sure Ericsson can't design something like this. T68 was pure Ericsson, and released 2 1/2 years ago. I'm sure they could have updated that if need be. 2 years plus is a LONG time in the phone business with the current rate of innovation. Future models based on that did actually happen (T68i, T610), just not with the Ericsson name on it.

You did mention to me you prefer the Motorola UI to the SE one. I'm pretty curious why you are using a T616 then. Actually I just had use of a Moto E365 recently... ya I was right... shite UI

Always picking on you? I replied to your posts twice. Hardly "always". You post Ericsson couldn't have developed phones like the T610 and now K700. I disagree and posted back. In fact I wasn't the only one to disagree with you, so not sure what the problem is?

Also I find it quite funny you spend the post bitching about the K700, and then telling us to thank Sony for "improving" the phone.
