Anyone have good or bad experience with replacement LCD display for SE T610?

I sort of fell into a pond chasing a frisbee (I mean a flying disc) and had the phone in my pocket. I cleaned it, disassembled and dried it. The phone works fine (sounds, menus, making/receiving calls, FMA, etc.) but the display is gone. For a while I had blue screen, but now the display does not even power up. This is a hardware issue, right? All my problems are just a replacement display away...right???

just a quick question from me. Somethhing I've noticed many times but never bothered to ask

It's regarding java apps that use gprs: when i start such an app it always gives me 3 options:
1. Connect
2. Always ask
3. Deny (i think)

I always choose 1... connect, but the next time it will ask me again. Is there not way to make the phone 'remember' that little setting?

FYI for all,

Despite dunking myself and my T610 neck-deep in a pond, the replacement LCD display I order from the CellPhoneShop fixed me right up. I think the display is actually brighter than the OEM unit, but I'm still undecided about the contrast.

Sync the contrast in service menu and fone menu. This message was posted from a T68i
