no, but a great deal of islam is rooted in christianity. if you look back a couple of pages you'll see O2 discussing it.

There are alot of similarities between Islam, juduism and christianity...

For one we all believe the same prophets... jesus(Isa for us), moses (Moosa for us) abraham (Ebrahim for us) etc...

just ( I stand to be corrected) the jews main prophet is moses, jesus for the christians and Mohamed (SAW) for the muslims...

Ahh rite - I was talking to a muslim the other day - who is converting after not beliving any more that man came from fire and water - it was after stone age man was proved, and that theory was thrown out out the water!

Didnt know how to take it - so I thought i would ask you guys?

If you believe in god, you can see him even now. I think religion begins when you have realised something. It is not believing in doctrines or giving intellectual assent or making declarations. @kbr, i guess there are something uncannily common things between islam christianity and hinduism. For example, we have brahma- the creator which when rearranged can be read as abraham! Or saraswati, the godess of knowledge which sounds a bit like sarah! Coincidence? Maybe.

Im sure u can make out some similarities with hinduism, but really the 3 main ones would be with christianity judism and islam...

almost all the prophecies are linked, im not trying to create anything

.....and theres nothing uncanny bout them... there are alot!
