hello, im having a bit of a prob with my battery too. ive not used it much but i charged it for the 8hrs, even tho the book said 4. even after 8 it was still saying charging, which i gather is more a bbug with the display rather than a battery prob. but when the phone arrived, the battery was mid way according to the display.
should i have run it down first? im used to my batteries always being pretty much dead when i get a new phone, so i didnt realy think.
have i knackered my battery?
Just same thing as T610, you don't have to worry that the phone still say battery charging ! As long as the battery indicator is full which means finished charged !

Donīt worry about that. Next 4-5 times try do discharge the most, and let all night charging in order to all battery cells become 100% active and ok. After that donīt worry a lot: try to charge when K700i stays some time with 0% battery indicator and the red light blinking and time to time leave him until it goes off.
And if you find K700iīs battery a little "short", there are 770mAh SE batteries on sale for about 20

(K700i are 700mAh)

the K700 battery (BST-30) is smaller than the BST-25 which I assume is the 770mAh you are talking about and which is used in the T610 and T63.
so those won't fit into the K700 unfortunately

The only problem I've come across after getting the phone yesterday is that the time allowed for recording Voice Tags seems far too short. If you try and record a 2 word name for example it cuts off the last bit. Anyone else got this problem?

i also rekon the battery is a joke, although im only on my third charge cycle, i think its not gonna get much better. i hope it does anyway.
if i dont play around with the phone (just normal text and call usage it ok, as soon as i start using things like the media player or games it drains pretty quickly, not too quickly, but still quick).
guys, is it possible to get the files from the recording application (.amr) to play in the media player, this would be mega useful. i tried renaming the files and putting them in the sounds folder but it still dont work. any help? coz that way when i record a lecture i can fastforward to the part i need insted of playing the file in the sounds folder and waiting for it to reach the bit i need.
thanks
