do the newer versions of SMan (think the beta that I just put on my phone) require freetype to be installed in addition to SMan, or does it work without it now?

@knight4led:
Xeon is correct, you will need to install freetype.sis separately. We could have included that into the SMan .sis installer, but we decided that if people wanted it, they could manually do so. Plus, most other apps install it in anyway so you do not need to install it again.

@all:
JUST A WARNING!
Based on xa4's suggestion, I tried Verdana at size 11 at it looked somewhat cleaner than the Nina fonts I was using earlier. Since the Verdana text seemed so clean and crisp, I tried to use size 8 as the default system font and it basically hung my P800 when I restarted. I of coz took my own advise and remove the memory stick, restarted the phone and all is well.
Moral of the story:
1. Install your fonts in D:
2. No matter how often/well you know something, it can still turn around and f*ck you up.
@xa4:
Don't worry, not saying that you are at fault, just to give other a "real life" situation where if I had not followed my own advise, I would have to go to the SE service center and get my device re-flashed and at the same time lose all my data/settings in drive C:

@ Ajack: That's the .ttf file's problem, some charactors or sizes is not supported or could not be loaded by Freetype...Happened to me as well...
Does anyone know what font supports Traditional Chinese? I keep on recieving this text message from someone and my P900 can't display it
