@meths
How dare you take fij's name in vain!
I can see where you are coming from, but I think
fij's point was somewhat more involved than that.
@mince
Long, time no see; welcome back.

But what about:

When asked about his least favourite thing in esato, in your interview?

@meths
That was a single interview question, hardly space for a detailed reply. If you read fij's initial post in the thread I linked to in my last post he does go into more detail.

You are a gobshite, scots. And so is Fijbert. Whining about "my esato is changing"...get over it. Its not your esato. Just because you've been here awhile gives you no right, absolutely none, to complain about it changing, or the amount of new members joining. They have the same right as you to be here, and post their opinions, the same as you and fijbert, and the rest of the "veterans" who decry new members do.

Godd grief! Chase me, chase me! What a reaction!
I don't believe I have ever used the phrase 'my Esato', nor to my knowledge has fijbert.
I have also never complained about the number of new members joining Esato, in fact I actively welcome more members. As you may or may not recall, I post in the newbies forum sometimes to welcome newbies to Esato.
I have also never stated that newbies have no right to state their own opinions, or any othe rmembers for that matter.
I have every right to complain about Esato changing, since members are allowed to post their opinions and this is the Esato Forum. If you don't like that opinion, well tough.
In essence I am not terribly sure why you are complaining. I may be an opinionated pompous gasbag who takes a paragraph to say what could be said in a single sentence, but I do, at least, have some form of coherent reasoning to back up my drivel.

Scots, i remember several recent conversations with you, in which you talk about "the way esato was" and "its going downhill, i wish old members would come back". Maybe, now this is a long shot, maybe you need to get a grip? Whats with the myriad "is esato this, that, or the other" threads recently, anyway?

Indeed that is true, I think my opinions on such topics are well known. I do think Esato has gone downhill somewhat when compared to when I first joined, I have said so before.
I do wish several of the members who have left would come back; I think Esato has lost something with their departure.

Perhaps it is indicative of the way many people feel about Esato? Perhaps it is suggestive that people are unhappy with Esato? Rhetorical questions aside for a moment, I personally know of several members who hold similar views to my own, I am not a lone voice, although perhaps I am the most vocal in airing those views.
What is interesting is that you criticise such ideas, yet have no knowledge of what Esato was like in the time period myself and others refer to. You have no comparison to make.

i dont think people wishing certain members would come back or saying that esato was more fun/ better is a slur on new members or would put them off posting.
it could be related to the fact that when certain members were around there was a lot more comedy i am thinking of when people like pachy boyi etc were around more there were some very funny thinks going on.
thats not to say new members ruin the site they dont they are the life blood of the place.
there are clicks on here but they are of such small numbers they could in no ways do anything to influence the running or way the site goes.
like someone said earlier and i said myself if new members are not posting its more down to there personallitys and what they are like in life in general than what the people on the site are doing.
if you have confidence then posting were noone knows anything about you should be a breeze
