I'm having extremely bad billing problems with them also, they're a disgrace and they were extremely rude to me on the phone aswell! Also now suddenly they can't talk to U18 year olds however whilst SELLING, they could speak to U18s. They piss me right off!

well i spoke to a much more helpful person later in the day, and she explained that when I got the tarriff they did mark me for a '10 quid discount' per month on that tarriff, but it was too late to apply the discount for last month due to the way their stupid billing system works.

So, next month I'll have two 'credits' for a tenner each, meaning I'm on the correct tarriff at the correct time and cost.

Grrr... I hate their on line billing system. Their bills are so confusing to understand

Oh... by the way, I had another off-topic discussion with this woman at O2, and she seemed to indicate the upgrade prices for handsets on this tarriff might be very expensive when its time to upgrade in 12 months. So, there is a trade off here -- you get a bargain tarriff, but upgrade handsets in 12 months won't come cheap.

I am on Discount 750. That is 750 xnet mins anytime etc. No rollover and what are the charges outside of contract?

On this tariff they are 25p/min flat rate. Whether it is a landline, O2 or Xnet. Not so great so please check yours and let me know!!!

Cheers

I've just got an upgrade to free K750i on discount 500, with 400 texts/month. I was wondering, is there a GPRS allowance included with this? What have other people found?

Last year i managed to get 500 cross network anytime mins (£25 a month) and a free phone (K700i), and a months line rental free out of orange by threatening to go to 3.
I am in month 10 of my contract now, and i needed cheaper texts, so i rang them a few time asking for the pac code to see what they would do, and each time they said that i already had the best contract that they could do, so i thought fine, and i went and got a nokia 6680 on 3 with 750 x-net anytime mins, 150 texts for £20 a month (12 month contract) but with carphone warehouse insurance you can get out of the contract without penalty and keep the phone anytime after 90 days, which is a good deal.
Anyway, i rang orange yeasterday off my new 3 phone to get the pac code from them. Guess what, they noticed i was calling from a 3 mobile!!! first they told me that i couldn't leave without paying penalty fees on the last 2 months of the contract, but when i told them i didn't care they cracked and after first offering me 60 texts, then 240 texts they gave in and i now offered me;
*Any phone on orange FOC (except the PDA type phones)
*500 X-net anytime mins
*1000 texts
*30 MMS
*£25 a month
*£50 credit on my next bill (2 months free line rental)

I reckon thats pretty good, what do you lot think? i took my 3 phone back to the shop under the 14 day cancellation period, and am now just trying to decide what phone i should get from them, i have untill the 16th of august to decide, any suggestions (i am hoping the w800i or nokia n90 will have been released by then)but if not i think i will either get the k750, or SVP C550.

Cheaky deal my friend!!

@everyone - a lot of you know I started this thread looking for a deal and to share my experiances so others could benifit too! (I'm glad this has done this for alot of you)

Any hoo, I can confirm that my tariff has been set a £10 a month which gives me:

FOC K750i
FOC Blue Tooth headset
500 X-net work mins per month
500 texts per month

I therefore set anyone a challenge to better it!!!
