Hi, Saan pwedeng bumili ng P900 na may latest FW na?
Plan to buy mid June. Pero nagdalawang isip ako kung P900 or K700 ba ang kunin ko. Any advice from the Tech guru here? Any advice will be highly appreciated. Tnxs...

@leytelann
buy from authorized distributors. dont worry about having the latest firmware. if you buy them from authorized distributors, you are entitled to free upgrades to the latest firmwares for 1 year from date of purchase.

re k700 vs p900.
no use comparing the two. this depends on how you intend to use your phone.

Anyone have any experience on BT Headset repairs?

I have an HBH-35 that doesnt seem to be working as well as it used to. Of course, I've dropped it a few times. Hard to be specific but calls get dropped more often, people dont understand me so well (echo) and battery life seems to be getting shorter. I have a P900 so you guys might have an insight on the relationship (if any) of Firmware upgrades to BT performance.

What can Smartnet or any other service center do to repair a headset? Are there firmware upgrades? Replaceable parts? New battery? What are the costs involved?

Thanks.

@jhermano, sorry to hear about your BT headset. Not too sure of how to fix those headsets. I owned a Motorola BT unit, which has since been shelved as it couldn't be salvaged. Maybe you should send it over to SESS or Smartnet and see what they can say about it.
