I do think he has the point. Looking at the leaked render of iPhone 8, the rear secondary camera module probably is the same as the rear primary camera module. I suppose Sony is continuing using IMX400 as the rear camera module, the rear "secondary" module may be IMX300 (same sensor as XZ, which is smaller than IMX400). This may explain the reason for the larger and longer hole to house the sensor together with the RBGC IR sensor.
Or could it be heart rate or pulse sensor? Sony is moving to market it as a health-related smartphone?

Sure it is camera related... it is dual flash and laster focus probably, nothing else, just a reposition.

Actually imx220 ( z3) and imx300( xz) are a bit bigger than imx400.
If you check Exmor RS list, you see the diagonal of sensor.
Imx220 has 7.87mm just like imx300.
Imx400 has 7.73 or 7.75mm.
Maybe the new lenses make it look bigger.
Tony says is not cam thing.
I hope it is not gimmick stuff( to measure oxygen of heart beat.)

I could not find what it is...
CMOS is slightly small though, but the resolution is lower
That's how "good in low light works"
As we know about A7S and A7S2 with full frame sensor and only have 12mp
Also, I am sure the thing i said is something useful, and it is not extra component
I don't know any about Xperia Hello
