Counter Fraud, currently working for local govt. But qualification and experience can be transferred to pretty much anything. Private industry, banks, etc
Quite interesting, protecting the tax payers money from dodgy scum stealing from the state!

Is there any proof that she wants to live? I mean, come on, being a vegetable for 15 years, I think the guy's a monster for letting her live that long...Before that happened, she was actually a good looking girl, seemed pretty normal and active...I dont think she's happy...I mean, hasn't it been established that there is no hope for her? I think they should just face the facts and let her go...

my personal opinion is that if you won't have all of your mental faculties, or face being stuck in a bed, plugged into a thousand machines, then you are no longer leading a life as we know it. None of us can comprehend what this situation feels like, nor have we ever experienced it. If it is no longer life as we know it, and we can't can't feasibly know how horrible (or pleasant) it is, then I don't see why we should be so judgemental about either choosing to keep someone alive or allowing them to die in this situation.
I say let every situation like this be handled on its own as a personal and hard decision. Don't interfere because none of us understand.

i.m very sick of hearing about this
i work in radio and this is all every one wants to talk about
they call in and tell me all this junk
i think she is going to die in that bed of hers one way or another
as much as i would hate to do this to my kids i would want to give them peace after 15yrs.
it makes me wonder what they (the media

wait that is me)
are covering up bad news in iraq???? oil prices???? increasing world tensions???? this story is not worthy of almost 2 months of a media blitz there is more to it than meets the eye they are hiding something

When she was first in the hospital, she was able to get out of bed by herself. She was not a vegetable. She was able to talk. The husband did not give her any rehabilitation and injected her insulin, which she did not need to rub her out. There are no pictures on the wall, no flowers allowed. He wants her dead, so he can go on with his wife. And to this day there are split opinions if she is a true vegetable. That is according to nurses. So why did he not sign custody over to her parents and walk away? He wanted her dead from the beginning. Something stinks here. We will see after the autopsy. And if there is no pain involved when you starve someone to death (yeah right) why do they give her morphium? I don't want to be Mike S. on Judgement day.
