What I think we need to do, is not post here for a while, and do something else with our lives.
Sitting here postulating is doing nothing useful. There are far too many conflicting reports from sources, so let us do what we should have done ages ago. Trust the only source that matters; Sony.
Let us assume, that everything is fake, until Sony puts us out of our mystery and actually shows us the damn thing. Then we'll know who the correct sources actually were.

The 4.2.2 UI on Xperia Z and ZL is just fine imo. The only thing I don't like is the animation they added when you swipe through the home screen tiles. I wish there was a way to disable it...

The RX100 II, gets a brand new 1-inch, 20.2 megapixel backside illuminated CMOS sensor. Sony claims it is the world’s first 1.0-type back illuminated sensor ever developed and offers 40% more sensitivity in low-light situations compared to the previous generation model. The RX100 II also gets Wi-Fi and is the first Sony camera to include NFC for quickly transferring content to compatible devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

RX100 II has blown me away, samples from imaging sites reveals that the brand new sensor on that camera is 1-stop better than the original RX100 and virtually as good as micro 4/3 cameras in high ISO performance. if Honami's 2/3" 20mp sensor is also BSI then I'm pretty sure it'll be as good as the original RX100 at most situations. and if Sony decided to remove AA filter on the sensor it'll give it even more sharpness.

Agree with you Razec i also hope the sensor uses some Sony 2013 magic!
I am sure it will be great, I just need it to be better than apple and htc.
Apple should be no match as they use older and smaller sony sensor.
I trust sony to beat ST on imaging, but the wait will not be too long anyway
