Yep, this thread has done particularly well, considering who we were up against

Hobbs, PM for you..

@ Kryptik and gola:

Thanks very much, guys.
Wow, didn't expect to obtain a 1st place award and 2 runner-ups in one year.
I'm quite touched.

I'm proud that our thread has done so well. It's great to see that others obviously recognise and can appreciate the amount of time and effort it takes for us to contribute the myriad of (usually) phone-related info (and phone-related pics etc) that we do.
Nice going, guys! Such a collective effort has made this thread what it is.

@ Jojo:
A huge congrats on getting the best Asian member award, matey! You've earned it. Well done!

Hear hear, well done Jojo

Now that the Awards are over, hopefully all the fuss concerning threads being locked, members being banned and so forth will be resolved and sanity can once more prevail. Did any of you guys get a PM regarding the anti-mod site? Had a look at it this morning... quite a bit of anger being vented over there... the word "hondsdolheid" springs to mind, lol

@ Goldenface, thanx mate, and congrats on the award

hehehe that's putting it mildly, mate, it's been a regular soapie with all the assorted cloaks swirling and daggers being drawn, (20 paces at dawn, name your second, lol) Whiz working his butt off to process results whilst speculation was rife All in all, these are interesting times indeed.

New Samsungs officially launched on Thursday, one has already appeared on one of the other esato threads.
Gee, Samsung seems to be churning phones out at a phenomenal rate lately...
Here we have the P520, L600, P260 and S720i; apart from the (LG) Prada-esque P520, pretty much another batch of low-to-mid range phones:

50mb internal memory and access to wifi aint too bad. I'm not about to rush out and buy one of those though, would make me uncomfortable to have a phone manufactured by the same people who built my tv... and microwave... and fridge... and dvd player... and probably my pacemaker in another few decades Or i could stop being biased, get one and when we have visitors i can pretend it's Mrs.K's phone
