well I was expecting at least 1 week or maybe 5 days (since the phone has 12hours talk time in his specifications), I use the phone as I use my old Samsung E590 for calls and 2-3pictures, and that phone was able to last 4days (and Samsung have crapy battery's).

and no, I don’t have wifi or Bluetooth turned on.

Mine lasts 2 days. I do some 10-20 min total call time, listen to mp3s for about 2 hours a day (constantly changing the song, so backlight gets turn on often), use wifi to go online and leave it turned on for 2-3 hours every day.

And I guess that's how it's supposed to be. It's a smartphone. At any given time there's at least one app running (the background one). Keep in mind that whenever you open an app or go to wifi/media/config/etc menu, the application keeps running until you close it on the task manager.
If it is running, it means it is on the memory. If it's on the memory, the processor needs to "refresh" it all the time, so thats some battery being drained right there.

That's no match. The E590 is not a smartphone and has a tiny display (1.8 inches), and the display size & quality is a main factor in draining the battery. I think 3 days is really good, even 2 days is fine by me.

Is it possible to create a shortcut to be able to go directly to GSM/3G networks?
I was able to do it on my K850i. On the G900 I can create a shortcut to Mobile networks, but I want to go a step further.

I tried Gdesk, but that still only drills down only as far as mobile networks, it doesnt give me the option for 3G/GSM networks
