Its nice to hear that there's an accessory which supports handsfree on 3.5mm jack and phone too. But it would've been great if they give MH700 along with W995. And i'm bit worried about the camera quality. I'm thinking between W995 and n86 probably i'm buying tomorrow.
What about skin support in media player?
And does have simile shutter, face detection, smart contrast?

Have you considered turning off all other features such as 3G, Wifi and any other apps that are running in the background? Shutting them off will increase battery life.

My w995 lasts ~3-4 days before recharging and that's only for phone and moderately media player use.

Otherwise, depending on when you bought your phone and whether or not you still have your receipt, you should return your phone to the phone shop for repair or for a replacement.

Good luck!

all is closed but 3G is always on,i do not know how to turn it off.

Goto:
Menu - Settings - Connectivity - Mobile networks - GSM/3G - GSM Only - Save

[FYI... Copy of user's guide is under phone's help menu]

3G is needed if you need to go online. Otherwise, it'll drain your battery.
Texting works for most people unless you do email or online chatting or similar activities often so turn on 3G only when needed!

You should see your battery life improve! Also, don't forget to cycle your battery!

Hope this helps!

thank you very much ... now it is easy

just got my new silver one yesterday. stuck at work today and tomorrow so havnent been able to play with it. also got my Phonak Audeo PFE earphones delivered yesterday at same time

will do some audio quality tests and report back once ive done so. if its anything like the w705 though, should be very good (for a phone). hopefully better than the w705...

the w705 was quite detailed and warm (for a phone). there was a good balance of all the music elements. bass was not muddy/overpowering, and if more bass was needed, just use the EQ and turn clear bass up a notch or 2 and it would be more than plenty for most users! clear bass is a lot better than megabass imho! megabass was just muddy and too overpowering!

I got the phone just today I got a desk speaker with it. I impressed a lot. And the phone feels very compact and good build. Key pad is comfort to use but the numeric keys feedback is uneven. And not played with camera much. Music quality is very good especially the stereo speakers and the desk speaker is very loud and bassy. The flash light is powerful. More than all the UI, media, texting are very fast. I used with bluetooth handsfree DS200 music quality is very good and phone works with unnoticeable lag. So i'm quite satisfied with it. I think the further firmware update may give us some pleasant surprise to us with good camera quality. ..

finally received my set. phones great! except 3 things i noticed:-

1. with the slider is closed, it's occassionally a *little* creaky when pressing the softkeys
2. auto mode on the camera is NOT auto at all...AF on a macro shot doesn't work unless i manually go into settings to select macro. (annoying) that said...the macros are amazing on this camera!!!!!
3. the body scratches too easily! i got the silver one and i'm finding a new scratch everyday, even though my phone is kept in a soft pouch
