1. Occasional re-boots. This is a problem, and SE know about it.
2. Slow data transfer by cable.
3. Only 128Mb.
4. Full screen video.
5. Swivel only 180 deg.
6. Shocking Voda branding.
7. No clock screensaver.

1. NEVER happened...
2. This is really boring.
3. Doesn't bother me. More than enough for pics. Because i won't use it as an MP3 player in normal circunstances.
4. Pity, but who knows...
5. I'm glad it doesn't. It would be a disaster in terms of durability.
6. Me don't have
7. I have my watch, and even if i didn't it's so easy to unlock the keys (and screen)...

I just have a small problem with mine in which when browsing the net sometimes the "Optimized charging" warning appears.

Quick question about the s700. Will it be able to use the SE Upgrade Service? I just got mine a few days ago but I can not recall seeing that it will be able to use the service. TIA.

Cheers

I would imagine that it will, I can't see SE excluding the S700 from online firmware updates.

For those with problems with slow transfers to S700i.
Try to use FMA...

Krubach,

The FMA phone viewer doesn't work with the S700. How do you do it?

It almost works. Some things are missing...
But using the "upload" function will be faster than using the cable only.

Ok it's only one way. But hey, better than nothing...

True, but not good for the most common task - offloading 10-30Mb of photos....

I was reading the Sony Ericsson S700 review: Welcome to Japan at GSM Arena and read this comment

Quote:Update: Sony Ericsson released a new firmware, which allows phones to search by more characters.

Does anyone know if this means you can search by inputing more than one letter while you're actually in the phonebook, or if this is just like the plain old "find" feature in older Sony Ericsson phones?
