I have a few Q's, I am seriously considering a PSP, and planning on buying one from Lik-Sang.

- They say it is region free, so is this the Japanese one? (Cos I don't want the lesser screen).

- Also, is £147.90 a good price for the Value Pack version?

- And, will I be hit with an import tax if I buy from them?

Cheers guys, and I cannot wait to join you in your Awesome craze!

@MikLSP
you were right my PSP came this morning with a lovely surprise £50.71 duty charge which i had to pay before parcelforce would give it to me.

The guy who sold it to me said guarenteed no VAT/customs, but when entering the value of the item he put 36000 yen - dosy bugger. you are only allowed 36 pound as a gift and 36000yen is £177, so im tryin to get him to cover some of the duty.

But it looks awesome got need for speed and twisted metal for it.

@ Chazzer3
Yes to all questions.
As said though only games are region free, movies are not. UK & Jap are region 2, US is region 1.
The newer Jap ones also have the different screen but don't worry I've also compared the screens & u can't tell the difference.

@ MonsterOfArt
I DO!
You got a link?

@ rimmer5
Unlucky mate, that's the biggest bill so far I think. So glad I didn't get stung.

I got my PSP yesterday
But I have a problem:
Where should I put the mp3's so I can play them in the PSP?
Cus when i just put them in PSP folder the PSP doesn't find them.

And I can't read the info book cus its in Japanese >.

Then I wonder, what does the little lever/key/button at the MSD slot do?

Follow these instructions to set as English:
- Go to the settings menu - on the far left with a briefcase picture
- Then System Settings - 5th one down picture of PSP with a spanner
- Then System Language - 2nd one down
- Then chose English - 2nd one down

Hope this helps

To put music on in the PSP folder make a new folder called MUSIC.
For example: L:PSP\MUSIC where L is the drive letter.

The switch near the Memory Stick is to turn WiFi on and Off.

Also anyone wanting the English Manual PM me your E-mail and I'll send it to you
