Hi all,

I also received the following today, in response to several emails I have sent them with regards to the video bitrate performance degredation. But guess what?, after using SEUS, it's still R1L002 with the totally naff video bitrate...

hi everyone, ive been through all 81 pages of this thread and im still slightly confused about something! through this thread i learnt to upgrade my firmware to version R1J002 from the original firmware. now i understand that other companies (such as DiVinci) do 3rd party software but im not 100% happy about putting such firmware on my phone. i do understand that these things are tested and many people use them, but what can i say, im so untrusting! What is the most current version of the official firmware though? Do I have it already have it? and if there is a new one, does it make much difference compared to mine? I'm still having some issues regarding GPRS (im on O2 UK) but the original firmware was so damn awful i REALLY don't want to take a step backwards again.

Sorry if this is going over old infirmation already discussed, but after reading the thread im more confused than before!

regards
Matt

P.S. whats the cheapest anyone was picked up a 1Gb memory stick for? Im using a 512 and i need more!

@ Orange k750i Users.

I've just upgraded to the latest FW (R1L002) and the "Orange" Icons are back on the main menu! they changed the the SE ones in R1J002 but i'm stuck with them again! Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm surprised it has taken so long. I got a replacement K750 almost two weeks ago from O2 because of dead (and dying) front panel buttons. That had R1L preinstalled. So it must have been put on maybe a week or so before it hit the store so it's been a very long time coming on SEUS.

I received the call from SE yesterday but had installed R1L 2 weeks ago. It must have been approved by O2 back then as SEUS was re-enabled.

I dont know why it took so long for SE to contact me after it was approved by O2 and enabled on SEUS.
