Regarding Beibei, I'm not sure what it did that the G900 doesn't. May be its a good thing that its held back as they look very similar. The G900 looks like a hit phone.

Could someone who read my post forward this question (sounds more like a demand) to SE, please? Maybe it can be asked in tomorrow event. . .
Why SE only put QVGA video recording in C905 instead of VGA? I hav read the whitepaper.
As we all know, Nokia, LG and Samsung hav done that several years ago (example N82 and N95.) nokia even prepared something bigger like
720x480@30fps in their next phone!
SE could do VGA easily (already decent sensor), and I don't know the reason SE struggling at QVGA. . .
If that's because the problem of big video size, ow c'mon. . . They already packaged 2 GB M2! And to make sure, SE can add the option to record video at VGA and QVGA, and maybe adding customizable video bitrate features to this CyberShot Flagship C905!
I heard some members in esato complains about this. 2 peoples I read even decided to buy N95 for this silly reason. . .
And we all have read many comparison review (mobile-review, gsmarena, etc) about K850i vs N95. . . Every reviewers have a critics that QVGA is a let down to K850i, comparing to Nokia.
Why SE repeat this mistakes again in C905? I don't want the reviewers throw this critics again to point the stupid weakness of C905!
And how a non-CyberShot branded X1 Xperia could do VGA rec, while C905 "High-End" "CyberShot" "Flagship" that has a PRICE tag almost 590 euro could only do QVGA rec. . .
Many people DISAPPOINTED :crying:
And I don't know why SE doesn't make C905 as PERFECT as possible, like adding following decent features, that could rises C905's selling point:
- SmileShutter (firmware)
- Dedicated play button
- Manual Focus and Saturation (firmware)
- Stereo Speakers with Neodymium Magnet Drivers
- Flash Lite 3 Support (firmware)
- TouchScreen to do Touch-Focus as introduced in G900
- Bluetooth 2.1 support
- HSUPA support
- Wi-Fi 802.11n support (currently only b and g)
- An option to enable or at least adjusting Noise Reduction Levels, since every people have different taste of matter to prefer "lot noise but high detail" or "low noise at the expenses of reduced details" (firmware)
- CCD Sensors with Liquid Lens technology from Vario-Tessar. (just googling about this liquid technology, reduced lens distortion, lower power usage, ability to auto-focus and optical zoom WITHOUT WASTING SPACES, the phone will NOT be thicker if you implement optical zoom)
- MicroSD Support, why SE abandoned it? Maybe they want to raising M2 selling? Politics. . .
- Torch Features like K850i has
- A jog scrolling key like BeiBei has
- Using 2.6" VGA 16.7M OLED display. Samsung has already using OLED display in their mobile phone (just look at wikipedia about OLED display. Lower power usage (maintain battery life), better angle, contrast and response time compared to LCD. And it's much cheaper than LCD)
I'm sorry if I asking (probably dreaming too much =p)
Back to my point of this post, could someone DEMANDING SE to put VGA rec, if you don't mind? Just forward this arguments to the high staff of SE. Or maybe SE's president
Many people hav asking VGA rec since K850i bad era. . . Why SE doesn't take a lessons from K850i fallen?
Please show them C905 discussion thread in esato, and look at many people complaining QVGA rec, all with pesimism. Maybe we should start a petition?
SE still have 5 months to change this easily before released, like what SE do in X1 Xperia (increasing RAM.)
I hope some high staff from SE read my posts. I have posted this in C905 thread, too. But I'm afraid some SE insiders doesn't read that thread.
Thanks For Your Attention, I'm sorry if I say something wrong. Everybody makes a mistakes

The quote from a short interview with SE:
Q. Professional UIQ-phones are a rare sight nowadays - are there any models in the pipeline or is the platform less suitable than Windows Mobile for this kind of phones?
A. Sony Ericsson today works with a set of different platforms that all add different parts to the portfolio.
UIQ is still an important platform, complementing Windows Mobile in X1.
Sorry, maybe it's translation, but UIQ complementing WM...?
I thought rather the opposite...

I guess it remains to be seen whether these cancellations (or delays) will turn out to our advantage on the long run. Personally I prefer to see a technologically up to date device at the end of the year than Paris in the form of a P1 with a different makeup. I really do hope that SE management has analyzed SE's current standing correctly and plans to get back to the glory days of P900/910.

It will never be this way 'cos now the market is so tight.
At the P900 times SE almost had no competitor.
Generally I don't believe that SE is leaving smartphone market if
the general tendency is just the opposite,
now every maker wants to make a smartphone,
it's the future...
