@papa - That's the latest ZZR model that I've seen so far mate very futuristic indeed ! Nice: headlights, side mirrors and exhaust pipe ! Is that the latest? I mean the last I've heard of is the ZZR-1100 . . .

Is it more of a cruiser than a sports bike? Like that of Honda's Gold Wing-series?

@ Jojo,
Yup, the very latest incarnation of the ZZR family. The ZZR 1100 was discontinued in the late 90's and replaced with the ZZR 1200. This was also discontinued a few years ago. There was no 1300 in the ZZR family. Now this 1400 has literally just been launched.

It is classified as a sports-tourer, meaning it's not an all-out touring bike like the Honda GL1800 Goldwing, but is sort of a compromise between a touring bike and an all-out superbike.
Judging from early press reports, the 4th largest Jap motorcycle factory have certainly produced a really awesome, sophisticated 2-wheeled machine.

@ama - OK, thanks for the info matey . . . looks like NO passenger can hop-in on that as there's 2 side bags placed behind

The design is really impressive PLUS the color too !

@ Jojo,
The 2 panniers (clip-off luggage compartments on the sides) don't hinder the pillion/passenger at all. The bike owner's wife was on the back when they rode off.
No relation or anyone that I know, just some well-connected dude from Carlisle, one of the most northern English towns before Scotland.
The bike was spotted in Kendal, one of the main towns in the county of Cumbria (the Lake District) in northern England.

Well matey, time I got some rest. It's nearly 1am here and it's been a looong day.
Hope you're having a great Tuesday.

G'night, pal.

From Africa with love...hehe!

Saw the GP pics, nice ones! Will have to get to a good connection to see your pics though Wanqa.

So, another mention of the w960i in Time magazine today. Don't think it was an accurate stat though, said it could take 8000 tracks...sure, 8000 thrash punk songs that clock in under 1 minute each...or 8000 inferior quality tracks. This is exactly what it said:
***
68%
Approximate increase in Apple's share price, to as much as $145, since the iPhone was introduced in early January.
8,000
Number of songs that fit on the Walkman W960i, to be released in August, (Yipee!) Sony Ericsson's touchscreen answer to the iPhone, which holds only hundreds.
***

So how accurate are these numbers? Do they consider that iPhone is 4 & 8 GB, (know the software takes space) and that you can just put 1000's of bad quality tracks on and say it holds as many? Once again, stupid remarks without conclusive proof by the yanks...But then again, the w960i will rock:-)

So i got the last episode of Heroes yesterday...watched it, and am done now...what a show:-)

Sleep well all!

Ever since i saw that Audi last night i haven't been able to sleep I want one!!! Nice pix there Wanqa, the Cumbria area is beautiful!

Brix, i'm not sure whether there's anything really good wrt Bluetooth remote control apps, will have a look around. Haven't really had any need of such an app to date.

Francois, i hear you boet, and i agree. Whenever i hear such claims i can't help but think that they can't seriously mean full-length tracks, not high-quality tracks at that. I guess those figures are intended for the suckers who don't know the first thing about phones except that it can take pix and it can play music. Duh :-|

Jojo, good morning mate That Kawa looks like it's exceeding the speed-limit even though it's parked
