If Paris really was running on a new hardware platform do you really think it would be cancelled?
There's not even a shadow of a proof for that.

That's what I am talking about, no proof but people all around whining (and some celebrating) Paris cancellation as if it was a 100% fact.

Eomer is one of the most to be trusted insiders. Did you read his sentence about Beibei and Paris?

Guess I read it, cause I posted it here
Still I do not find that mysterious sentence to be proof enough to jump to such harsh judgments. It's possible he meant it in different way.

Another post from mobile-review regarding the above:
"Rog is spot on.
Bye bye Beibei too.
More info to come next week"
I meant this:
Motorola didn't cancel all UIQ phones this year, they delayed most of them.
Skarven and derivatives are frozen - but you can pretty much guarantee Skarven is dead. So is Paris and BeiBei from SEMC.

I must say that I'm a little disappointed that the new C series is not UIQ/Symbian. I think it's one of the nicest looking phones SE have released, but I just couldn't do away with UIQ

( Although, I suppose there really isn't any need for a camera focused phone to need UIQ.
