No not yet but next week I think you will see confirmation.
Probably not, since there never was an announcement to begin with, therefore no announcement needed to cancel an unannounced device
I'm also hoping that these delays/cancellations will eventually lead to a decent device by SE but they better announce it before the end of summer.

The answer is very obvious and very self explanatory: The P series will continue without Paris and Beibei.
That´s what i´ve been saying, no one listens. I could not care less about Paris/Beibei - what i want are NEW uiq devices to be announced, and that will happen
Just remember, the Paris prototype we´ve come to know is not the only UIQ device they´ve been working for long time, neither is Beibei.
And also, i and m-one got the same info from different sources long time ago, new processors were being tested on UIQ devices, whether or not that was to reach market in 2008.

1. read how it's referred as P- s e r i e s
2. you really think that all names are obliged to become real phones?
3. there are a few of phones that came out with v. last minute leaks, or no leaks at all. they are either ____ or ____; nothing in between
4. looking back could you guess what Z800's replacement was "meant" to look like? with W980 and Z610 out now

Yeah where is the Cybershot clamshell?
I remember that rumor from over a year ago before the K850i was announced.

I agree. I will go back to my old T610 before I even think about switching to Nokia lol.
Well, hopefully another 'concrete' announcement can't be too far away.

Supposedly battery life is much improved with it using ST based chipset instead of what was used before - TI.

Pathetic becasue they are the market leaders? Or pathetic becasue it offends SE fanboys?
I have no affinity to any make, just whatever suits my needs. SE have blown it over the last year or so as far as im concerned. You can deny this as much as you want and continue to praise them. But still the facts speak for themselves.

What is the difference between P and X series? X1 has full qwerty while P1 has a rocker, both do business and multimedia. UIQ may come to Xperia so I don't see why there are two product lines. If the X1 was named the P2 for example, what would people think apart from those who miss the rocker. A lot of people would be happy I guess.
What is the main selling point of the P and X phones? I like to think that since there are two different high-end product lines, P phones should have something unique about them compared to X phones.
I'm hoping SE have something nice lined up because like I said before, an X1 with UIQ would silence those who have been waiting for Paris for so long.
