If this Z2 (Z refresh) is what I think it is (as said, a basically slimmer Honami without the huge camera, but with all the other goodies), then this is my next phone.

Z2 is the second half flagship with updated Z specs.
Honami is a camera centric variant, much like how Z Ultra is a big screen productivity variant, and S4 zoom is a camera variant of S4. It will be a niche device if you will.
Sorry if I'm the last person to realise this. My eyes have read every word of this thread but my mind has been elsewhere.
OT: Someone asked 20 or so pages back (perhaps arsenalfan?) for a definition of a niche device. It is a device that is aimed at a speciality, non-mainstream market. Some might call the first Note device niche, but Samsung have managed to make the XL phone market into a good market on it's own. Another example would be the 808 pureview, it hasn't been followed up and the ONLY reason to buy it was the camera.

The Xperia Z look alike, C690X, that leaked today, have a 20MP camera. Whether it's Honami, nobody knows. Maybe Sony wants to make 20MP the standard like how they made 13MP a standard for flagships.
