p900 supports .mp4 and avi (with smart movie player).. Avi with xvid codec is the clearest format... The settings for the encoding are given in the P900 forums.. i think you should find it here:

hmm.. i don't use mpegable, so i'm not sure of the settings... but if i recollect correctly then the optimum resolution is 296 x 192... and the frame rate is 9...but i think that's for mp4... anyway i use Sorensen squeeze and mainly smartmovie converter...
