is your speakerphone working ok? the reason i ask is because i believe the snooze function and the speakerphone use the same sensor. apparently, the motion sensor is quite sensitive and many R520's have had both the snooze and speakerphone malfunction due to dust/dirt buildup.
solution is pretty simple really. just take it to a service centre and have it cleaned. unless you want to risk opening the phone up and cleaning it yourself, which is very risky if you don't know what you're doing...

As i said, the alarm starts but after a couple of rings the alarm stops even if there's nothing around my phone. When i'm talking, there is no problem, the speaker turns off only if near an object/ear. It cannot be a problem of the sensor.

I have r2 something fw. But everything works except sending emails. I can check my pop3 but cant use the smtp . Any of you have this feature working ?
