Have you noticed everybody that the phone is quite slow???? When you have 3-4 photographs in a envelop it takes ages to load.

I hope that they are going to fix this with the release of the new update.

This may or may not be of use to some who have reset there S700s.
Follow the sony ericson wap link http://wap.sonyericsson.com ,
select phone, -S700i,
choose region, - where you are, U.K. for me, software,
phone software.

I now get a choice of Converter, and World Clock. I have tried downloading the world clock app 3 times now,

file name - worldclock_S700_EU.jad -

and the phone says not supported by phone download anyway?

It saves on the mem stick, and will not run. I cannot move it to the phone mem either.

Anyone help with this?

Is there a difference between the S700 and the S700a?

Other than the country to where they are distributed to.

I saw a site that indicated that the S700 screen was slightly smaller.

Any validity to this claim? I know the colors are different.
Silver v.s. Black.

One has EDGE and one does'nt. Screen size is the same on both. Just the small addition of edge in the S700a (black model)

Pics in the dark...Have a look. Taken from the front of my house 10mins ago (without night mode on)

@Rookwise

Thanks ! Do you have other pics? I may start a new topic on S700 pictures. Not many pics around. There is a topic in one of the forums on K 700 pics.

I am interested in S 700 pics, as this is what I am leaning towards as my next phone. Thanks for the info.

@Rookwise

I've started a new topic ---> S700 Picture Gallery

Would you care to share some pictures?

It would be nice to get this going.
