Yes, exactly, those still here are the ones who havent been tempted enough or just been given exactly what theyre looking for. Its a shame for me because G900 is about 80-90% what I want. Add a few bits of software (e.g. Opera 9.5) and hardware (e.g. bigger, better screen, keyboard) and Im sold. In fact, if there was no rumour thread had I seen the G900 I wouldve probably just gone for it. But I dont have that kind of money to spend on it knowing that something improved will be coming along in the not too distant future and Ill probably want that alot more for something new it may bring. But when you look at the year as a whole, I dont think its right at all to say UIQ has been 'abandoned', or however else you would like to phrase it. The two best UIQ models today (IMO, anyway) have been announced this year and now theyre fresh onto the market. We just want that little bit more powerhouse deliverance, touch of class and turbocharged specs to seal the deal. Im sure it will come.
As regards to the P-series superphone we are waiting for (Paris, or P10, for lack of a different or official name), we have seen the prototype gladiotis had, and we have seen the concept device shown in the video at java one. I therefore think one of the next great devices will be an iteration of these two (ie, something in between). But to be honest, we dont know enough about either one to have any strong thoughts on them anyway. But it will be interesting, definately.
By the way, the general consensus of the P-series is wrong, as far as Im aware. P stands for PDA, not professional. Therefore, it is logical that strictly speaking, the WM OS would be more suited to P-series. I also think UIQ is more suited to Xperia due to the limitations of WM for multimedia (like 65k colours), but I dont really know enough about it to call that one. Anyway time will show what becomes of all this.

yeh you know, here in Bahrain sometimes we speak english like some body just knows soem words and try to remember them ( just playing with words ), it's not serious just some funny thing to do and play with, and the good one is the most strange combination of words that make something understandable
example ( me, football play ) or ( this... mouth eat ) or ( me see bed, me eyes sleepy )
a ( well ) here comes from ( well done ), so just add some word to get some extra ( very ) out of ( very good ) without repeating ( very ) two times
