Everyone knows the device leaked is a C690X. But is that Honami or Z2?
Or is Z2 = Honami?

He also confirmed the camera can go up to ISO 12800 and has steadyshot modes as well

ISO 12800? for a camera to produce usable shots of that sensitivity that must be a really good sensor/optics combo we'll have there, when a enthusiast compacts like Canon G15 and Panasonic LF1 could barely produce usable ISO3200 shots, Honami must be really something.

Well Well, who is disappointed now with Honami ???????

And also the build.prob info confirms MOST of my rumors. So I don't think I need to find "better sources" as suggested by someone here.

I have the system dump but need to upload if anyone here is interested .
The build.prop actually don't reveal much. It's the APKs and libs. I'm no ROM expert unfortunately.

I don't know if the one in the picture is Honami. I've never seen it. I only get spec docs. So my sources are a little different than others.

IMO, the Z refresh seems very unlikely. Because Honami's price will be the same as the Z when it launched, and by having another Z refresh, Sony's shooting itself in the foot by having 2 handsets launching at the same price, while one having an inferior specs. If Honami is able to keep that same price with a much more luxury design (which is what I was told), then the Z will need to offer much more to stay at a premium price. So I have high doubts that the Z refresh will make it to market. It may be for next year instead.

Sony plans to stick to 2 flagships per year. The first being catch up, the second for beating competition since most competition releases around May-September.

Honami should be announced near end of August for IFA.

@vivftp
Yes, I can confirm that Honami will have Triluminos + X-Reality screen. No BE3 this year.

@vivftp

YESSSS... for the MX/MM audio chip... paired with the stereo speaker at the bottom it's what will make me an owner of the beast

and... for 5'' screen like that oh the XZ you intend the same TFT display that was so criticised or simply the same dimension? beacause I really hope that the screen quality will be on pair, if not superior, to the one that there is on the XZUltra!

Nobody said it will produce usable shots of that sensitivity Don't get fooled by bad marketing Also steadyshots, I'm 95% positive it's only a digital stabilization, not a real one like on Lumia and HTC One.
