By the way, one of the SE hosts showed me a clamshell which looked exactly the same as TM506 only it had a walkman branding at the front and it was black, sadly he didn’t want to say which phone it was.

Ah just saw one now. Doesnt really look differnt to the Z770. They should upgrade the screens of their clamshells in terms of size imo.

SE clamshells are never high end. I know candy bars are the main thing in Europe but I think if they made one with a decent size screen aswell as a decent cam, flash it should sell well.

me too although W980 is a high-end one
but I am looking forward to see a Clamshell Cyber-SHOT with Swivel touch screen bringing to us the touch-Focus

I like the overall look of the W980 but just a few things put me off.
1) That panel that lights up looks like it may get loose over time
2) The buttons are way to big. They are homer simpson moo moo sized buttons. I look at the w880 keys and then this and then im thinking where is the consistency lol.
But the keypad of Alicia looks a lot better. Just a pity its not got an improved cam.
Also will we see cybershot on a walkman? I thought that would be a clash of brands.
