1) it has multichannel slot, so that i can use the free gprs trick.
2)does it have a real player, so that i can view Airtel live live streaming...Aaj tak n CNBC.
3) can i install software in it. as like we install in Nokia 6600, or ne 60 series phone...
Thank you......pls reply.....
Alan n all u intelligent ppl pls reply.....i really need urgently......thanks a lot.......
shivam is right. It's not a s60 phone. So you can't install softwares,themes like 6600. Majority of Nokia s40 phones doesn't support multichannel(multilink) GPRS. So its better to check b4 buying(if you are buying phone from friend, there is no problem to borrow it for one day)

~~~~ Guys Please every1 reply to this Questions...
1) Which Cellphone (model) you are using to connect to spartan gprs?
2) In early morning around 6-7am what speed your getting on PC?
3) You are from which City?
4) How you are connecting (i,e Via USB cable or Bluetooth or infrared??)
Please I request you all to test your internet speed in the early morning hours. Click the link to test your internet speed
http://www.zdnetindia.com/reviews/isp/rateisp/popspeed.html
I have Nokia 6630, SE W550i, I connect thru USB cable.
On Nokia 6630 I get speed 80kbps and above
On SE W550i I get speed 30kbps max.
I request all to perform internet speed test on the above mentioned link. And post results here along with answers to the above queries.
I Hope every1 will reply to this post................
Thanks guys!
@shiv it all comes down to software limitations. Consider this:on my t230, recording voice clips is limited only by free memory, whereas on all s60 phones,recording is limited to 1min.
Also, believe it or not, there's no auto key lock feature that's found even in the most basic phones.
If nokia chose not to implement multi channel gprs on a phone, there's nothing you can do about it
hey alanDS and other guys can u help me to solve a problem???
its a annoying one.
first to tell u that i have SE T610 and i connect through bluetooth dongle using spartan metod.i am from kolkata.
since march airtelmms is not working so i have to bruteforce to connect cauz T610 is singlechannel gprs phone.
previously bruteforcing for about 25-30 times the page will open and i will continue to browse till i remain connected.
but from last month i saw some problem.in morning around from 10 am to 12 midnight there is no need for bruteforcing.the page will open on first try.
but when i start browsing and open few random sites then it shows 403 forbidden.
i have to connect and reconnect to open sitesin this time period.but after 12 midnight these problem vanishes and come back to previous old method.
i try my best to solve this problem like changing the USB port,changing the phone position,reinstalling drivers etc.but still the problem remains.
can u guys help me to tell how i solve this???
Am planning to buy a New phone... Guys pls help me choose the best one.
Sony Ericsson K750
Sony Ericsson W810 (EDGE - Class 10, 236.8 kbps)
Sony Ericsson W900 (3G - 384 kbps)
Which is the best among three?
Which will give good internet speed, spartans trick ????
One more thing for Phone guru's... As u all know Nokia 6630 is giving very good speed for spartan gprs. It is giving good speed because of 3G or EDGE??? or any other reason? please explain why?
