SE actually has more to it. They have other companies offering them some features added to the phone. I remember Taito sent a green flip phone(same color as K660i) a few years back to put in gaming interfaces. The phone won't surface anymore, but it had A/B button, and it was a flip phone. That's all I know, and that's all I saw.
I don't think everyone is expecting pictures of P5i. People who are familiar with this industry would know when the picture would most likely come(That's why they don't ask). Having leaks or announcements late in the year would always affect their end of year sales so SE have their reasons to keep it shut. They have the time and the portfolio to to support them for the rest of the year, so no need to rush things up.
About the missing specs here and there well take a look at Nokia who decided to integrate all the functions into a phone. Look at their line ups, they only have 1 or 2 series that's lasting them. SE separated the specs to missing a few just to be able to distinguish their portfolio(It's just so obvious). They could continue to expand their portfolio into different branches. I think it's a long term success.
The picture you showed us, it's still controversial whether it's fake or not. I personally think it is not, but the problem is when it would come, or whether it would come at all or not. The picture does show it's still in its early stage, and there's just so much time to consider it to be announced or not.

P990i's successor to be released late 2008 or even in the beginning of 2009 because "it won't be ready till then". Thats a very controversial information compared to what we knew and I won't update the first post until I find some stronger evidence.(
