If you think about it, the jogdial isn't popular in Japan is because the competitors have so many other solutions. Sharp with the "Touch Cruiser" which is an optical mouse and Fujitsu with their fingerprint scanner which also acts as a page scroller.

Not fact. At commercial firmware smaller number may be the last. And last year beta firmware k850 was 044, then, 041, then 039 commercial.

but there is a Japanese section in the Global
website
