All products in the UAE are tax free! The cheapest I've seen is £446 SIM free. Thats how much i got it for.

To clear things up, there is no tax/duty at all in the UAE! The shop is called Axiom telecom and there are many branches in Dubai. The main store is in Deira City Centre (just ask for it, everyone know it!). Also there are no contract phones in the UAE. All phones are SIM free.
Edit: about the laptop, as your coming over here, why not buy it from here too? can get much mor for the price! like for example: Fujitsu Siemens Amilo-D
