Pity about the no HSDPA coverage where you live Falcon.Jeez,I would love that.Sea Points coverage is pretty much 3G/hsdpa 24/7.Mmmm maybe i should go on Vottle and see if anyone wants to swap a N95 for my Phone.You never know.Going to give it a bash.

I was only there for 2 days, mate. We stayed at The Woodlands Hotel at the top of Preston New Road. Gee, there were enough speed cameras going down the A666 towards the stadium!
We got a bit lost in that one-way system in the city centre while looking for take-aways one night. Most of the restaurants (like The Windmill etc) were not taking further orders at the time as it was pretty late by then. We ended up having some of the best pizza I've had in a long time at Pizza Planet. There were quite a few kebab and pizza places to choose from. We weren't sure how to navigate our way back out the one way system to get up the A666 again.
The one short Asian guy in his 20's that worked there said he would draw us a map, then realised he could help us out even better. He offered to get in his car and drive ahead of us and take us back onto the A666, which he did. We were pretty blessed by his kindness. When he pulled over to signal us to go on ahead once we found our way, my friend Marius climbed out the car and was so impressed by what the guy did for us that he offered him £10 as a thank you. The guy declined, thanking Marius but asking him to rather give it to the poor, as did it for us "from his heart." Wow. That spoke volumes.
That kind of stuff one does not forget in a hurry.
A pity that I didn't realise that you stayed in Blackburn. Woulda been great to meet up with the legendary PK in the short time that I was there.

You'll never get lost again never mind asking strangers for direction. The tomtom is very nice in europe while here in sa, Garmin rules. Carefull with the bluetooth Gps thou, the garmin protocol is not the same as the more popular nmea ! Help may be 'on the way' if I am successful with the porting of 'gpsproxy' to the s60 platform

Thanks for that info. Gotta look into that. I obviously haven't climbed onto the GPS bandwagon yet; we've always managed quite well to get around with the map books here, but it would've come in handy on Sunday night..
The one-way systems are even worse in Stirling and Perth in Scotland; they make Pretoria's one way system look like an absolute breeze! (which it kinda is, IMHO.)

My dad's contract is coming up for an upgrade so i have to option of a new phone.problem is i'm pretty happy with both my phones oh just sold the w800 last week.what i really find usefull about the v3x as second phone for calls is the extended detailed call log ie 60 of received calls log plus 60 dialled and with full details like time duration and also if caller id was shown or not...and privacy settings are a blessing lol nobody has access to any of my messages or anything i choose to lock!
I can even lock the phone book or particular programs
