Safari has been running really really slow lately say for the past week or so. I nearly always have unison running but this has never been an issue before so i'm wondering if it is something else? I've reset safari, cleared the history and emptied the cache but it is still really slow. I have all software updates installed and have run disk utility where it states everything is fine, just wondered if it could be something else?

have you still got unison open? or azureus open seeding things?

uploading stuff slows my net connection down no end..

have you tried using firefox to see what that does?

You could try doing the following:

home > library > safari and delete the following files:

form values
download.plist

Then go to home > library > preferences and delete

com.apple.Safari.plist

Lesley i tried that found it on the apple forums but still no luck and LUke i have 8mb so it shouldn't be a problem. Unison is open but it isn't downloading anything really even that is being slow.
