I agree with you but as far as I have heard Sony will use a 1080p display on all the devices in H1 2014. This might change in H2 2014.

Excluding the tablet, right?

If Sony releases the 2014 flagship before May it will not come with a 805 SoC.

Qualcomm: first device with the new Snapdragon 805 chipset to arrive in May

That would confirm what milu said sometime ago

Yes, IPS will be the major screen type for Sony 2014 devices.

Interesting...

Exploring options while they develop their own OS I suppose. Rumoured to have a high end Firefox phone too. And Ubuntu. Sounds fun.

The Verge seems to think Sony is doing well to return to their glory days:

Can't wait to see what they have to reveal at MWC! I trust it'll stomp on what others show

Was CES sponsored by Sony this year? I see a lot of people in the videos from the trade show wearing ID passes with lanyards with SONY written on it.

Anyway, I sense a lot of phones will be announced in MWC. If Siruis won't be shown there, then I guess it's all low-end and mid-range phones, which I am more excited about since those are what I can only afford.
