@rami, well ever since honami was a rumor like way back, i was expecting sony to completely step up from the game this year.
I know I know things changes when it gets closer to the final product.
Hardware wise for honami is great and all but not super great, the camera will be a disappointment if it is what was leaked. (still rumor, and none of us can get any final info from our sources). Indeed Sony has uniqueness in design and thats 1st out of all tech manufacturers. Software wise, I think Sony needs to do better in this field, not like its bad compared to any other competitors but I cant find anything else to compare it with other competitors, other than that it is clean and simple close to AOSP.
Alot of users out there aka buyers are simple minded cows, and they go with the trend, whats hot, which one has more features. Even if those features are useless, those cows will be attracted to that.
The newly introduced Togari aka Xperia Z Ultra, was a bit disappointing as well. Again, we cant judge a product before it is even released yet. Individuals who are into phones knows this and that, but simple minded cows dont, and Sony isnt focusing on those simple minded cows. 6.5mm thin is nice, but is there a point in heading towards design to attract buyers? maybe yes and maybe no. Like 70% people around the world just wants one common thing, eg: a phone that can last them over a day or two. Heck, I dont know which target market is Sony aiming at at all.
I unno, im just looking at this from a marketing perspective, and the thing is I know Sony has alot more up their sleeves. So much power and resources, yet they are kind of confused, lost of direction. So much resources are put into waste. If you know what i mean.

let me remind you That the ZL, is not waterproof
has only 2400 MHA, has a smaller camera sensor, dose not have s masterchip, nor snapdragon s800, nor stylus input support, nor 3000MHA battery and it is 10mm thick where is the honami 1 mm thinner !
so how the hell Sony will make a beezless design with all that features and that slimness ?

I'm quite sure you won't be. Nobody would be.
So far, whatever was rumored about Honami has been confirmed. Apart from Xenon (which cannot be ruled out yet), all other rumored features have been confirmed or semi confirmed in the past 2 weeks.
