Seems that my comment has started a bit of a flame war????
I personally don't think it'll be released on time. My faith in the release dates given regarding the P990i is now gone. As Tom cruise says "show me the P990i"... erm .... I mean money.

I believe it will be launched on schedule...just read some more posts from french, italian forums, from people that sent mails to SE, and i myself did the same: the answer is still the same: 2nd Q
I only will believe in the delay after officially confirmed, and i donīt believe it will because it would be a big error for SE to make anoter delay, and they know it
In the middle of May maybe we will have news, because SE will announce new phones

I think it will come out exactly when SE have planned it to... The end of June, they havnt told us that, they havnt told anyone. But this way if it is later than we expect they can say "Actually its bang on time". By not announcing the planned release date they can change it as they like.
Keeps their share holders happy. May or September, as long as no one offically says "yes it was later than expected" share prices will remain.

here. It was updated after being published to contain what (according to a slightly dodgy online translation) appeared to be a rep from SE denying any further delays.

SE them self claim the rumors are wrong, P990 will be released in Q2 (the article writer did not mention it was just a rumor until now, what a lousy way to write articles).

According to sources the P990 is delayed to after the summer, but Jacob Rýden from SE claims that it is going to be released in q2. im originally from norway so i can read swedish very well.
So everything in that article is based on rumours and SE is denying that its going to be delayed again.
Hope i could help you to understand a little more about this article

xtemujin, I never seen mobile manufactures make second press statement that just to confirm that they are still releasing the phone on time unless the phone is delayed but since SE said it will come out in 2Q why should they release another press statement, they will only if the phone is delayed. Since SE still havent made another press statement maybe because phone will be release in Q2, we are still in Q2, 2 months left.
dannyoneil, well target u already know, its 2Q so they dont need to repeat themself.
I think you guys should relax, believing anyone whatever they say, some people just make things up or not sure what they are on about. Whatever your hearing is all rumours because we havent heard this from SE. We all should wait, still 2 months left of 2Q. If its get delayed then you'll hear it from SE.
