hey, it ud be great if u cud tell me hows the speed of the os of w960i as compared to n82?...n like how much time does it take to save one beam(eg- savin audio file recieved via bluetooth)??? cuz w950i took ages to save filess...

Just thought I'd post some info here as a chap on My-symbian wanted proof TomTom works on the W960i and I thought my "proof" might be of interest here too.
You need the DVD version, not any memory card version:
TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 - Software & Maps of Western Europe on DVD.
This page still shows compatability with W950i (
http://www.tomtom.com/product[....]es.php?ID=260&Category=2&Lid=1 ) and I've had this working on a P990i & now W960i as pictures below show:
Icon showing TomTom on today screen (Bottom RHS)
TomTom Starting Up
TomTom Navigating
TomTom showing Signal lock via my TomTom BT receiver
Sound also works fine through my BT headsets
PS. I've got a Martin Fields Overlay Plus fitted from my P990i until W960i full screen ones are available.

hi guys,
it seems as if i have problem with screen alignment, as my screen ain't exactly centered. there's a thin hair gap on the right side....i don't know how to tell, but the screen ain't centered.....leaves a gap on the right, d'oh! my english ain't good!

1. Can the music player be used when the keypad lock is enabled? Like hold down volume keys to switch tracks?
2. Is the WiFi stable now? My P1i has a habit of dropping connection even though it says it's connected.
3. Can the BST-33 battery be replaced with a higher capacity BST-40 like on the P1i?

the battery in P1i seems to be of bigger size, i am doubtful it will replace the bst-33 thoug i am hopeful new series with higher capacity coming up.
the battery seems to drain very fast on W960 compared to W950, or is it just me?
