So here are the pic I promised, I did plan on getting some outdoor shots but the hevens opened and we had a thunder storm and as the QX10 isn't waterproof I didn't want to risk it. Also neither the Z2 or the QX10 allow for the same resolution when shooting so I tried my best to pair them up evenly. On the QX10 I can't manually adjust the ISO so both were set to auto. The amount of light both devices were able to capture was great and I can asure you that it was darker than what the images look.

Earlier in this thread I posted comparison photo between QX10 and Z2

Next week I will post more comparison.
IMO QX10 can make a bit more natural and pleasant pics sometimes.

Now I have a little Berlin trip and I just make some shots with my Z2.
Will post them in a few days.

@Xperiajunkie your Z2 shots have a purple tinge in the middle

just like what dxomark noted, there's that purple fringing going on in some occasions. could it be due to the type of light that hits the lens?

the qx10 appears to be underperforming. does it have the latest firmware?

Bonovox, am I right in saying that the shots that XperiaJunkie posted do not exhibit the same problem as you had (large blur on the right hand side of the lens)?
