N73 static pics, also taken today at the Orsett Show:

WW2 British Army displays, complete with Willys Jeep, etc.

Mass-produced British Sten sub-machine gun, which was supplied to various British paratroop battalions, French partisan forces in then-occupied France, etc. They also had the Thompson M1A1 sub-machine gun (aka Tommy gun, as well as the earlier version infamously used by the '30's era mafia and nicknamed the 'Chicago Typewriter'...), Bren heavy machine gun, Lee Enfield .303 rifles, German MP40 Schmeisser, et al.

@ Jojo,
N73 pics of the bike outing today.
My Suzuki looks a bit out of place at the local Harley Davidson store, LOL.

The Kawa will have its turn in the near future, but this bike is more comfortable for the better half. The ZX's riding position for the pillion is more cramped; it isn't really designed with a passenger in mind as such.

@dad - Nice pics ! I like the Bike-Stunt-Photo . . . is that the son of Evil Knievel The girl in the driver's seat (Willy's Jeep) looks like a pornstar

You still have a NICE Suzuki bike mate . . . comparable to the latest ones OUT in the market !

@ R.Mugabe,
Hi Uncle Bob. There's no other Zim expats around here AFAIK..

@ gola,
Just to take into account that those D900's will be branded (except O2) as well as locked to a UK network. The only chainstore here that sells PAYG unlocked and unbranded is Carphone Warehouse. The D900i is currently £119.95 (approx R1700) when bought with £10 airtime from them.
However, there is a current special if one opts for a Virgin simcard with one of these, namely £70-worth of free calltime minutes and only pay £10 for this airtime!

Off topic, good too see SA's Benni McCarthy hand Blackburn Rovers a well-deserved win over Manchester City today.

Classic old police car:

A few other classics, taken in less than perfect conditions:

Even the latest tractors now have funky headlights LOL.
