The Arc's top section of the screen reminds me P990.
I prefer X10's design.

But the phone looks really skinny

I also mentioned how more mature, balanced and refined the X10's design is, along with a more ergonomic back that sits perfectly in the hand and a screen that is centred, unlike the offset Arc screen, and I was shot down in flames...so I don't bother now!

The X10 looks so prehistoric next to the Arc.

So the Arc is only missing 1700 to work on T mobile USA correct? Can it still work using only 2100 for 3G?

And just to be clear, regarding voicecalls and 2G the Arc will work on T mobile USA

Regarding 3G it won't work? Or will work half the time?

What about the deal with AT&T? Will you be able to use AT&T towers to use the Arc now?

Reply to all these questions will be really appreciated as the phone is coming out very soon

T Mobile USA use both 1700 & 2100 for their 3g.. one for upload and one for download.. so you need both bands for 3G to work (ATT uses 850/1900)

you can use the both international version and the Americas version of the Arc on TMobile USA for 2/2.5G service only.. so voice and EDGE will still work.

3G will not work at all on TMOBILE USA

If the ATT & TMO merger gets approval from Feds then.. if you have the americas version Arc, you will be able to take advantage of the ATT 3G network.. though a new sim card might be required.

Arc looks futuristic but Haribolman is right about the design and ergonomy.
Skinny design and wide screen is the good of Arc compared to X10.

Calling local dealer here in Bahrain ( Fakhro Electronics ) several times gave me these info

- both Arc and Neo will be available starting from the first week of April
- Arc price is estimated to be between BD225 to BD235.
- Neo price is estimated to be between BD185 to BD195.

Going directly to the dealer altered just these info to
- Both Arc and Neo will be available starting from 2nd Week of April. the delay is for unknown reason ( Japan crisis or Bahrain political problems )
- Neo price is less than BD200.

Asking about Play, he noted that they don't have any info coz of Japan crisis. they don't know if they will have it or not. but already have a Arc, Play and Neo launch event in nearby country... so I donno if this guy know any thing or he is just guessing...

Neo
BD185 ~ BD195 = 345 Euro ~ 365 Euro / $490 ~ $530
BD200 = 370Euro / $530

Arc
BD225 ~ BD235 = 420Euro ~ 440Euro / $600 ~ $625
