arghh!! bad trip, my home desktop's primary drive just failed all of a sudden. wala man lang akong napansing mga syndromes of impending failure.
buti na lang i don't put data on that drive, system and progs lang.

another reason to be happy about is that i have read from the seagate website that the drive is still within the manufacturer's warranty period. i'll process it for replacement later.
but the bad news from their site is that they have stopped offering 3-year warranties to personal products customers
beginning 1-Oct-2002. Buti na lang nung 2000 pa itong drive ko.
Anyway, what other manufacturer offers warranties in excess of 1 year? Any ideas
