> Nokia N90 Success in Doubt?

Quote: But you are comparing features of the N90 to features that the K750i doesn't have!!!!!!
If you have read thru my posts, I am not trying to compare these 2 phones at all. My stance is always they belong to 2 different categories.
It is only SE fans who implied that since K750 camera is better and physically smaller than N90 will make the N90 look like a dumb buy (and thus success in doubt). K750 fans seem impervious to the fact that N90
is not just about, for the n-th times, camera, camera, camera. And the fate of N90 is never tied to how K750 performed.
K750 - is a runaway success?? Sure if the buyers main consideration is just the camera. There is no better camera phone now. I myself would buy the K750 if camera is my only consideration. See, I do give credit where credit is due.
Quote:The thread, according to the main article, is about why it is doubtful that the N90 will be successful and thats because of its bulk, and probably because it looks like hell on a Monday morning!!
For someone who needs some computing power, it would look worse than hell if he/she needs to carry the K750 + notebook on a Monday morning rush hour.

For the 100th time, is not just the camera, but the camera is the highlite!
Itīs the combination of great camera + great video/music/games player + great phone
It allows you to skip using 3 separate devices to get quality, because it does all the 3 things superbly, and it fits in a shirt pocket

@arez.
If you leave out camera, physical size and price, the N90 would absolutely without doubt leaves the K750 far far behind. (keeping my finger crossed that you are not so myopic to suggest otherwise).
If you leave out physical size and price and bring the camera into equation, it would not change a thing because K750 camera is only slightly better than N90.
The only way you can put K750 and N90 in a comparsion is when you zoom in on just physical size/price factor ONLY. Other than that N90 is in the premier league while K750 is in 2nd division. As the saying goes:-"one should know one's position in the order of thing and not try to be something that one's not".

i'm a series60 user. So I would feel right at home with N90. N90 not released yet where I am living. Anyway I dont like clamshell. Played around with K700 (but not K750). Can get used to the teeny-weeny screen. From what I know, there is no different in UI / physical shape between K750/K700. K700 casing a bit filmsy (read K750 carry on the same tradition). Nokia's S60 like 7610, 6670, 6630 and 6680 are much more solid built.
why r u interested to know?

may i had somethig more??? sound quality, battery duration, vibrator (n90 doesnīt have one)
and more...if you compare the ratio incorporated technology/physical size+weight+cost of the two phones, well, then we easily know that SE engineers have made shame of blokia engineers
its easy too see, you know whatīs the main reason for N90 to have Kirstie Alley dimensions donīt you??? yes, itīs the camera...so, they had to make the phone so big because something that in the end loose to a much smaller and cheaper handset (k750)??? what a faillure lol
phone cameras, and phone music players are supposed to be small and light to be really attractive...of course. but there are always brick-lovers
n90 is indeed in a different league, itīs on the laptops league, or mini dv cameras league lol

gosh. You must be joking!!

Is K750 a clamshell? Is K750 a smartphone. Does K750 have 3G/EDGE hardware? Does K750 have a big screen. If SE engineers are so smart, why can't they built P910i in the same size as 6680?

@mib...i fail to understand why you keep drawing unfair comparisons between 2 phones...smartphone vs non smartphone for one....
The p910 is best compared with a 7710 or the communicators, simply because these phones are positioned for the business user.. Now if you draw a comparison here, theres not much to talk about as far as size is concerned, is there??
