Just upgraded to R5BC004. No noticeble difference from previous firmware except that it now supports multiple character phone book search, which I really welcome since getting used to it on my K750i.

You jus need the program to install and when you connect the fone with the cable the software recognises the fone and upgrades that particulr fone.

Cheers

@waja800

Multiple character phonebook search? I've had 3 different revisions of firmware on my W900 and they've all had that feature. (IIRC I've had R5AC, R5AF and now R5BB). Haven't found this newer version yet.

asia pacific versions, especially those with chinese language availability, often don't offer multi-character search so this is a welcome addition.

The previous Asia Pacific firmware does not have multiple character phone book search, and was only available the first time in R5BB.

Can anyone else post their camera versions?

Mine's as follows:

R5BC004
Camera version: 2.8
Video call camera version: 2.8

Heard from another forummer that my camera version is of the old R5AF's, and R5BB has already got camera versions of 2.9.

I sent my phone to the SC to have them flash it for me instead.

So now my firmware is R5BC004, with both camera and video call camera version 2.9

Thanks guys.
